Who spread their love
Sharing their hope and wisdom
Nurturing each one of us
All through our lives

Who have worked tirelessly
Praying and providing for us
Anything it takes
To give us a better life

 

 

May God bless
All of the mothers
Be they birth mothers
Adopted mothers
Stepmothers, Mothers-In-Law
Grandmothers, Aunts
Or a motherly friend
 

 

For each of these women
Have touched the hearts
Have enriched the minds
Have soothed the souls
Of the children,
Young or grown
In their lives
